Lazy Dayz

It's Twozday!

Da Boyz haven't a care in the world, and don't seem to give a darn about anything except what might interrupt their nap time.
Manny, between beddys.
Chili Bruce, enjoying the blankie.
Manny in his usual post-breakfast locale on top of the fridge.
Chili peeking into the kitchen to see if there is a counter to surf before his regularly-scheduled nap; you can see his shaved front leg.

The veterinarian gave CB a thumbs up at his post-dental check-up yesterday.

Yay!

Adjustment

It's Twozday!

Da Boyz have migrated to the huge doggo bed that we'd purchased for Celestial Chuck and Angel many years ago.

The countless adjustments they make in their napping positions, as they snooze away, are always favorite sights for the camera to record.

18 November
17 November
11 November

Interestingly enough, it appears that Manny is up at the top in all three images, while Chili Bruce takes up more space from his location.

CB is a bed hog!

Comfy

For Sweetnesday, we offer images of Her Ladyship using her favorite napping locations:
On a stack of pads and blankets, where she can enjoy the afternoon sunshine.
Exactly the spot on the bed where the human was just laying.
Never mind where the human was, she just lays atop her human!

Someone has it made in the shade!

It's Sweetnesday!
Yep, some kitty is living the dream...and dreaming the days away!

We are beyond happy that she's feeling so comfortable.

She is even getting a bit round, from all the good chow AND endless hours of napping here, there, everywhere...oops.

Love her!

Bag It

Manny chose to sleep with his backend inside the paper bag, with his front half on the soft beddy!

Wet and Rainy

The 'O' Cats's Frozen Waterbowl

Chucky's under there!
Visited with family on Thanksgiving Thursday, and stayed away from the crowds on Friday.  The photos below are from my neighborhood walk, when it was misty and chilly.  But the colors of everything seemed so alive!

As much as I prefer Spring, Summer and Autumn, there is no denying that cold and dreary can bring out beauty too!  And the tree dogs were barking and carrying on, and they made me laugh and laugh; such big woofies, trying to show me that they were toughguys.  They are too adorable!

Napping Preferences

My winter coat carefully covering
Chuck as he sleeps on the chair underneath
The rocking chair, with blanket and The Hubby's
warm jacket...AND the heater vent,
for Chuck's nappy pleasure
Chuck prefers to hide away when it's nap time.  I throw blankets, shirts and coats over chairs, rockers and baskets for him.  The Hubby doesn't always like the 'tents' so much; sometimes making our occasional cat count is hampered by all the tents!  I, however, respond to what the cat wants, and Chuck mostly likes to hide.  Angel, on the other hand, prefers to sleep in the open.
The hot air register runs under the floor; Angel
is taking advantage of the warm wood!
Angel sleeps on top of the tent
Excuse the rough photos; not enough light in the evenings!

Where to sleep when it's hot outside?

Chuck is inside a box, which is draped
with my fleecy jacket; are his toes out to catch
a cool breeze?
Aries, the neighbor's cat,
laying on cool concrete
Patty O'Malley will sleep anywhere
Angel on the front steps, with The Hubby's
feet behind...
when they are outside, the humans
stand guard duty!

Nap Sites

In the bed, on the sideboard

On the piano bench, in front of the door, while using my old winter hat for a pillow

In the bay window, behind the curtains
Chucky changes napping sites with the seasons.  Surprisingly, he goes into the cold bay window during the Winter, and sleeps in the sun during Summer.  Often, the hubby and I have to make a complete search of the house, to find Chucky's newest napping locale.  You'd think it would be easy to find a long, black cat, but he often evades our searches, and then just shows up in a place we had previously looking in.  Maybe he has a cloak of invisibility, or can simply disappear.  I've asked him, but he's not telling!
