Do Cats Eat Quinoa?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Chili Bruce on left, Manny leaving the scene to the right

Chili Bruce: "It looks like kibble!"

Yes, yes they DO eat quinoa!
Not much, but they gave it a try.

Now you know!

(The quinoa was on a plate, which Manny pawed off the counter.
Lucky for us, quinoa doesn't cost much, so no harm done.)

Disclaimer: No cats were harmed in the making of this blog post!

  7. Sawyer and Lisbeth love to paw everything off the counters, but never a plate with quinoa. They'd probably try it if they did; though, they prefer stealing turkey from their dad's sandwiches. Thanks for hopping along with us. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  10. Tee Hee! Mom made a Quinoa Tabbouleh a few weeks back. I went nuts when Mom opened the Feta and stuck my face in the Tabbouleh. I DID eat some of the Quinoa, but I much prefer chick peas.
Glad you guys got the chance to try it too!

    1. Quinoa is all the rage, ancient Andean grain chock full of healthy stuff. We vegans cannot get enough of it, and apparently, some cats like it too, but they may have been just trying to be nice.
