Wally Wednesday

I am so lucky to have visited The Island Cats

We live on different sides of Detroit; we are northeast of the city, and Island Cats are south.  I visited with Wally, Ernie and Zoey (so much FUN!), but I refrained from playing too much of the photographer as I was their guest.  The lady with the yellow hair, Sue, and I ate at Bobcat Bonnie's in Wyandotte...yum!  We then headed over to see if Chip and Slim, The Garden Center Cats, would come out and visit us at her husband's place of business.

Wally is not on the counter.
He says that I'm hallucinating!

Imagine my surprise, Scarlet lives there too!  I said hello; she simply eyeballed me the whole time.

My photo doesn't show her luscious red tail!
Sorry Trout Talkin' Tabbies!
Chip was first to leave his napping spot in the shelving, and he enjoy his snacks!  He allowed me to get within a few feet of him, then he'd decided that I was close enough.

Chip says, 'Whoa!  I'm just about ready to run away!'
Slim was much more shy, however he graced us with his presence, and look, his ears aren't even airplaning!

Slim made sure the straw bale was between us!
As you know, I too have 'feral' cats: The PO'M and Sweetie, called The 'O' Cats.  Although they respond to me and The Hubby, they really don't do well with other people.  Same with Chip and Slim; they know their regular folks, and just try to ignore the rest of us as we make kissy sounds and click away on our phones!

What a delight to visit with all of Sue and The Island Cat's Dad!  Thank you both again!  You know what?!?...I too want to be an Island Cat!

  1. how cool is this that you got to visit with mom sue and the entire crew !!

since me, the food servizz gurlz commenting today, I promise NOT to show my crew the "ewe noe what ;) ♥♥☺☺

    1. Oh, thank you for that! I was truly worried that I was gonna get knocked off! ;-)

  2. What a great visit. It's always fun when members of the cat Blogosphere get together.

  3. How wonderful that you got to visit the Island Cats. We are very envious!

    The Chans

  4. We loved having you visit us, Miss Vicky...even if Ernie and Zoey hid the whole time. :)

  5. That is so nice you got to visit them and have lunch with their mom.

  6. Wally, of course you're not. Your guest here at Eastsidecats had a phone that photographs hallucinations, that's all. I totally believe you.
Hello Chip, Slim and Scarlet! And thank you, mom of the O Cats and efurrybuddy there, for taking us with you kinda, on your visit to the Lady With the Yellow Hair and her fur family. I so wish I could do that too.

  7. That had to be such a fun time! The Dad says Sue is extra special and he always enjoys seeing her.

  8. Yep, that is a definite back-off-lady look from Chip! Nice seeing the two--how fun for you! (Secret message to Wally: the countertop is often the best place for coolness--we do it frequently ourselves!)

  9. That Scarlet looks like a nice and plump birdie! I bet she would taste nom with gravy drippings (just kiddin' - kind of). I would love to visit Wally, Ernie and Zoey! But I would also want to visit you and your pussycats, too! Winks.

  10. I am jealous!! I only live about 4 hours away so who knows! One day I might get to visit you guys too!

  11. Oh MeOW what fun. We're so jealous. Great fotos. Big hugs

    Luv ya'

    Dezi and Raena

  12. How lucky you are! I've met the Island Cats' human, but not the rest of the family!

  13. I'm sooo jealous!!! <3 I want to meet the both of you <3

  14. OMC! YOU got to visit with the Island Cats, The Lady with the Yellow Hair, AND visit Chip and Slim!?!?!

  16. What a cook visit! Not only did you meet the Island Cats but you saw Chip and Slim too. I can see a bit of the red tail
