John, the old-house-turned-apartments two doors down from our house often had a black cat in the front window. Then, when Hobo escorted Sweetie to our cat food bowls on the deck, I sorta felt like she was the kitty in the window. She was very unsocial to humans, so as time went on, I treated her as I did the other cats, but always tried to make contact. She is small, so that tells me she started having babies while still young herself. Over the decade that followed, we worked to get her approval, and being able to pet her was such a thrill. The fact that she adapted to living inside within a short while tells us all that she once lived with humans, but was it the guy down the street, or did she come from somewhere else? *shrug* And that's her story, as I see it.
That's right, sweet girl, enjoy your time in the sun!
