Our #1 is a big tea drinker. Her favourite is single estate Darjeeling, but she also likes Lapsang Souchong, and drink what is lovingly referred to as "builder's tea" on a regular basis.
We had no idea there was such a thing as International Tea Day, but it's a great idea. In fact, Mummy and Auntie N. took Step-Grandma out for Afternoon Tea (and scones) for her Birthday last week.
The one with the orange tabby opening the cabinet is so funny! We like both coffee and tea, but since today is International Tea Day, we will make it a tea day.:)
DR Johnson said of himself that he was “a hardened and shameless tea-drinker, who has, for twenty years, diluted his meals with only the infusion of this fascinating plant; whose kettle has scarcely time to cool; who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight, and, with tea, welcomes the morning.” I couldn't agree more.
