I've taken a vacation day from work.
The Hubby and I will drive from home in Michigan to some point in Ohio nearest 100% totality.
The trip by The Cat Car will take about about an hour.
Once the sun is again full in the sky, we'll drive back home again.
A once-in-a-lifetime event for us.
Have the glasses, along with a filter for my iPhone.
A full tank of gas, snacks, and maybe a handful of CD's to enjoy...road trip!
😎 🌚
We're just going to enjoy the smaller version of it here...we didn't want to endure the traffic jams, LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time!!
Have a safe drive since there will a bunch of crazies on the highway fur sure. I'll have 99% totality here at home and that is where I will be. This is the 2nd total eclipse I have seen in my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteYou're prepared. I'll await the next post. How fun and sharing this event with hubby, priceless.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
I'm lucky that we need only walk outside here near Dayton, Ohio. Travel safe and enjoy, my dear.
ReplyDeleteKitties Blue: Good luck. We would have an 80 to 85% eclipse here, but we are buried under think clouds, so we will see nothing. Share some photos if you get some. ReplyDeleteHope you had fun. We were happy with 94% totality.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great view and a safe trip
ReplyDeleteOoh. we hope you had clear skies and enjoyed the eclipse!
ReplyDeleteHope it was a great experience!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you had fun. We had rain and didn't even see the 86% we were expecting.
ReplyDeleteWe saw it indirectly way over here in the west, using the old pinhole through the cardboard trick. Otherwise, there was no effect.
