Baldy

It's PO'Monday!

April, 2019

Celestial Paddy O'Malley enjoyed the bright Spring sunshine.
It seemed that every year, The PO'M would have some injury.

In 2019, he'd licked a bare patch on his belly.

Other years, he'd scratched himself so much that he was covered in scabs, or have a large patch of fur missing.

Perhaps these were signs of the illness that later took him.

The couple of vet visits that we'd managed, as I had to trap him, proved fairly unhelpful.

Was told each time that he'd have probably healed on his own, so they gave him antibiotics, then patted both of our heads, to send us on our way.

After that, I used holistic and DIY injury care on The PO'M.

Let's face it...he did it his way.
❤️❤️❤️

  1. He was a good fella despite all that baldness....and he knew LOVE, so very important! Thanks for having been there for him.

  2. He always looked happy. Flynn went through a stage for a couple of years when he groomed his belly bare.

  3. Well it is a shame that his belly was bald, but he certainly had a very cute belly. And don't we worry over every little thing that happens to our pets. We wouldn't be good moms if we didn't.

  4. Humans and cats seldom agree on what makes a vert visit necessary!

  5. Paddy O'Mally sure enjoyed the sunshine and the over grooming is not that rare. Our Spooky boy has had a bare belly for quite a while but he never did that again.

  6. We kitties do seem to do it our way, that's for sure. And we love seeing Sammy and thinking too of our Loulou, so similar and probably distant cousins. And how can we get on your blog as Loulou? Not anonymous!

  14. He was an independent sort - but he didn't mind some help from his friends.
