April 19 is National Cat Lady Day, celebrating the bond between women and felines, rebranding the 'cat lady' stereotype from negative to empowering.

Henry Update:

Friday, he's had a healthy appetite.

Except when it comes to churus; now, he's not very keen on them.

That's okay, as I'd rather he eat good canned cat food instead of those treats.

Monday morning is our vet visit.

As I didn't know the names of the above critters, I waited until I could ask someone by name to volunteer for a selfie:

Sly said 'yes', even if he looks like I'd just roused him from a nap.

And, as it happens, I HAD just woken him from his slumber on the garden wall.

I met up with my two sweet fellows early in the AM, while walking in the coolest part of the day.

The sunrise cast Sneakers in a pink glow, while Sly was in the shadows as he lounged like a boss on the bench.

Anyone human in this family will call to the cats when I'm striding up the sidewalk, knowing that I'll pet and coo over their kitties!

And why would anyone NOT lavish attention on these two handsomes?

My fellas are getting old; Sneakers is bony under all the fur, and Sly does little more than nap on the bench.

I love 'em like they were mine.

Today's Sunday Selfie: Sly

Sly lives with his people, another cat or two, and a doggo, at about the halfway point of my 'hood walk.

I am known as Sly's Girlfriend.

If Sly is around, he'll find his way to me as I amble up.

They've even placed a bench near the sidewalk, so Sly has his throne to overlook his territory, and I can sit to give him the homage he is due.

Oh My!

Boyfriend Sly, the neighbor's cat, is spending time snoozing on the seat cushions.

He always wakes up for me, so I can give him the adulation that he feels he deserves, but cannot help but yawn wide before he curls back into dreamland.

Am thankful for this glorious kitty, and his humans who indulge me as I romp around in their front yard.

Truly, a magnificent fluff!
