The Unknown

It's Sweetnesday!

While an outside cat in August, 2018, one didn't know Sweetie's true purrsonality:
Pretty eyes!
Sun-kissed fur.
DUM DUM DUM...
MURDER MITTS!!!

Okay, maybe we had an inkling that she wasn't just a pretty face.

Oh, I'm not kidding any of you; Sweetie is a sweetheart, and always was.

Chic!

It's Sweetnesday, and do we have a treat for you!

Sweetie is showing off her newest hats.
In a bonnie tartan tammy
"Shall I make biscuits for you?"
French beret, oui oui!
Cool as a cucumber, in shades.

More hats to come; stay tuned!

Snoozer

It's Sweetnesday!

That Sweetie; such a snoozer!
She takes over the warm spot when a human gets up.
She sleeps in the window, curled up like a shrimp.
Whoa!
She can give an evil look if you interrupt her nap!

Friday Frustrations

A certain media site has banned my Eastside Cats Blog posts.

We don't know why someone would have reported it for being 'abusive'.

From what I've read and researched, I have no recourse, and must wait out our jail time.

They've removed all blog posts that I've ever linked on my page.

In addition, I cannot use my IG account either, without first removing my Eastside Cats Blog link.

Oy vey!

Sweetie, looking swell!

Therefore, I'll post an image of our Sweetie, and move forward.

Sweetie is one tough kitty, so I'm going to use her as my mentor.

What I've learned from her:

Hiss and swat if you are uncomfortable.
Enjoy the sunshine when you can.
It's okay to meow at someone you like.
Keep a low profile.

Serenity

I posted that The 'O' Cats were acting a bit off.

Update: Sweetie and Paddy O'Malley are back to their usual antics, and neither have disappeared or missed a snack since late last week.  Even though the weather continues to be up and down, we three shared some time together on the deck.

Wha OH!  Photobombed!

Goofball Paddy
Whatever disturbed them has faded.
Thanks to all who suggested that I be patient.
You were right; they are tough kitties!

Sweet Sweetie Makes Biscuits Then Gets Photobombed!

I love the way Sweetie makes biscuits while standing up!  Then The POM *MUST* get between her and me.

And yes, the backyard is covered ankle-deep in fallen leaves.  Sure, it's pretty, but it will take 50 to 60 yard refuse paper bags to remove it all!

Mostly Maple leaves

Sweet Sweetie

Sweetie is just the sweetest!  That is, until Patty O'Malley tells her that she's used up her allotted 'Love-on-the-Cat-Mama' time, and he bullies her away.

Getting Furred

A close up of my furry shirt

Petting Sweetie...!

...and more petting!
Sweetie turned into a complete love bug as the sun set last night!  I sat on the deck, and she head-butted and side-swiped me so much that my t-shirt became covered in Sweetie fur.  She actually sat next to me, and allowed me to pet her too, which was a first.  Trying on enjoy the moment, I did not take many photos.

Delightful!

And where was Patty O'Malley at the time?
Hiding under the feeding station!
There were thunderstorms nearby, but they went around us. We heard thunder though, and Patty felt it was more prudent to be under something heavy to use as an umbrella, rather than purr and pet with me.  It's all good, Patty!

Tricked Ya! Thursday

Answers to yesterday's post:

Ha ha HA!  That Stranger Cat looks an awful lot like Patty!  I did not see her last night, but you know I'm always on watch for kitties in the neighborhood, like the wee black floofy kitty below:
See the little black cat on the sidewalk?

Patty with a spot
Here is this morning's photo of Patty, with a Advantage Multi spot on his neck.  He was not a happy camper and tried to pull away as I started the application, but I told him that he's been scratching the fur off of his ears and he needs the stuff.  He relented, but he gave me the back of disapproval this morning.
Tough as nails Angel
Then again, he got chased by Angel last night, who didn't enjoy his close proximity to her front porch perch.  AND, Sweetie pushed him off of his dinner bowl last night; she really wanted that tuna!

Sweetie's typical stance: one front paw raised
Patty's three ladies messed with his poor mind; I think he's down in the dumps today.  No worries, I'll give him lots of lovin' this evening to build his self-esteem back up again.

Tryst

Spent some time with Sweetie and Patty O'Malley on the deck last night.  Sweetie sat off to the side, while Patty badgered me for petting and snuggles.  When I became engrossed in my phone, however, he decided to wander off for awhile.

Patty always gets between me and Sweetie...

...because he wants me all to himself!
That's when Sweetie got up, and started to headbunt my back, rub her body along mine, and push her sweet lil' face into my arms!  She allowed me to pet her and rub her tummy too. This went on for a long time, and I tried to catch images in the dusk...

Sweetie, rubbing on my back...

...with some tail action...

...wrapping it around my arm!

"Where's that Patty?"

"I love you, The Mommy!"

"I love you too, Sweetie!"

When Patty sauntered back up onto the deck, Sweetie easily broke away from me and jumped into her favorite box.  Patty was none the wiser, and I floated back inside on the wings of a Sweetie tryst!

WOW!
