Drooly Pommy

It's PO'Monday!
November, 2019.

Celestial PO'M made me enjoy Autumn, as he seemed unaffected.

Sitting with him for hours, as he purred, drooled, and played at being silly, he helped ease me into the season.
❤️🍁🍂🍁💖

Note:

Am on vacation this week, and am traveling by plane for the first time in years.

Quite exciting, and yet major trepidations swirl through my brain.

The Hubby remains home, so no cat will have their routine changed.

Should I miss a post or some comments, it's 'cause I'm checking one big trip off of my 'to-do' list.

More to come.

Sunshine and a Place to Sleep

It's PO'Monday!

The temperatures are dropping, but with a good dose of sunshine and a warm place to nap, life was good for Celestial Paddy O'Malley.
Truth be told, I would drift off to the Land of Nod for a bit too, as he snoozed on my lap or chest.

If on the deck, he'd push his paws up against me, and close his eyes.

I didn't take too many photos of him sleeping, because those green peepers were just too beautiful!

Cat Scratch Force Field

Monday O'Malley

The PO'M loves me, and I love him, but he's hard on my clothes!

Drool and snags on my pants.
More snags on my shorts!
I needed a solution, and I found one:

A force field between me and The Padster!

Image taken from Blue Q website.
I found this amazing apron at Leon and Lulu in Clawson, Michigan.

Now, once I tie on the apron, and go outside to get some lovin' from The Padster...

I'll have an apron force field between us!

😹😽😹

Disclaimer: I purchased the apron for my own use and amusement, and mention the store and manufacturer as a courtesy for my readers.  I only post about items that I think you all would enjoy, and for no financial gain for myself.

Angel: Good!

"Mom, I want to go home!"
Just a quick note from Angel's holistic veterinarian visit yesterday: she's good!  She drooled A TON, which is something she's not done before. Angel is in good shape, if a tad round, and I've got a couple of bottles of vitamins to crush and mix into her food.

Surprisingly, there were no hisses and floofy suits when Angel and I were home again, so the nice herb and calming oil air scent that clung to us did not anger Chuck...(or The Hubby, ha ha!)  Angel does need a teeth cleaning, so that's on the list next.

More details about the holistic experience soon; there is a lot for me to think about.  I was so nervous! Lucky for me, my friend (who recommended the vet) unexpectedly showed up just when we had arrived, so it was fantastic to talk to her and catch up on all things animal and human.  Thanks, BG!

Cat Spit

Do all cats drool?  Maybe I've never noticed it much before, but both Angel and Chuck tend to drool when they are enjoying a hands-on session with their humans.
Chuck, after carrying my socks and before drooling

Angel, already rubbing her face on the box edge
Both rub their jaws and cheeks on the edge of a box, and the drooling begins!  I'll spare you any photos of said spit puddles; the description of them is enough.

Even Patty O'Malley will send bits of spit out into the universe, when he shakes his head, like a big, drool-y dog.  Eww.

Patty appears to be smiling!
