We are all lethargic when we are overweight. I'm glad switching food worked.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day and week. My best to our peeps. ♥
I bet Angel feels 5 years younger now that she has a model physique. Winks. -Valentine (& Mom Kerry) of Noir Kitty Mews
ReplyDeletethose photos are a riot.. I don't know which one I like more.. Maybe the one at the top of the stairs..
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I want to snorgle that tummy, even if there is less of it now :)
ReplyDeleteAnd here we thought only orange and white boys did that pose!! What a cutie.

ReplyDeleteWe are doing the same thing with our LG. Moved her to canned food since she is really over weight. I think it is
working too.

Yep, the girl has style. Same thing happened to us - Mom switched us from kibble to canned, and the weight came off pretty fast. I, Tobers was once 23 lbs. Now I'm around 14. And Leia of course, has the weight of a marshmallow at just under 6 lbs. I'm not allowed to say what she USED to weigh.
ReplyDeleteOMC I’m squeeing and squeeing here! Angel has got such a gorgeous tummy! Too bad she doesn’t lie down like that much any more, but it’s great she is in better shape!
ReplyDeleteAngel looks like she knows how to relax! Great poses.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to keep things aired!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Angel, my mom would be your complete and always minion forever and ever IF you allowed her to get her hands in your furs and smooch that whoa self of yours.
ReplyDeleteAngel sure knows how to do a comfy!
ReplyDeleteOHHHH Kitty tum tum. Congrats on the weight loss. It is not an easy thing with a cat. Very difficult!
ReplyDeleteAww... so cute.
ReplyDeleteCanned food is much better, though I feed Athena both dry and canned/wet.
Purrs xx

Yeah, dry food is totally unhealthy for cats. It contains cereals and also cats are not drinking enough water. Good quality canned food is definitely better option. You can also add some water to it - it's better when cats can drink more water.
ReplyDeleteI've changed canned food for BARF food last year. We have some supplementation issues but I think I know what I did screw up. I had to start making food on my own because of different health problems (every single cat has some different disease) and it's easier for me to make some "base food" for them all and just add different supplements for each of them. And I'm really pleased about that change. Their fur is so shiny and beautiful, our vet told me that it was great job :)
If you have some time you can try it as well :) It's not very complicated :) and of course healthy cats can eat it to - with basic suplements :)
Oh my gosh, someone is the cutest of the cute!
ReplyDeleteOkay, the stairs totally scare us. Be careful Angel!!! Big hugs
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'
