Bananacatastrophe

No photos exist of the disaster that occured this morning.  The Hubby reports that Manny reached up and hooked his claws on the cutting board that held a nicely chopped banana.  The banana was due to grace MY breakfast, but instead, it hit the floor.  Oh noes!

Manny being weird
Fortunately, the crisis was erased by the surfeit of organic bananas on hand.  Oatmeal with bananas, cinnamon, and a tablespoon of peanut butter was served on schedule, and I wasn't told about the bananacatastrophe until later.

No animals were harmed in the making of today's post, and The Hubby was only upset by the banana loss for a few minutes, because Manny is too cute, and now all is forgiven.

  2. MOL MOL dem claws dem claws dem wonderful claws.
I giggled. Did the bang to the floor send Manny scurrying?
As with here anything Madi did was adorable...even when caught on the top of the grandfather clock chewing on the finial. Those precious teeth marks are still there and very much treasured.
As for the dishware I loved...when I got home I 99% wished I had bought the talk vase. It would have been quite a bit of beauty and class to the mantel.

  5. Manny is definitely too cute not to be forgiven. Would you believe our mom had the same breakfast? Only she cooked the banana in the oatmeal.

  6. You could have implemented the 5 second rule and ate the fallen banana. :)

  7. Burton is going to do that to me one of these days - he thinks everything on the cutting board belongs to him.

  8. Our mom just loves that photo of Manny!

One of our old bros (and Mom can't remember if it was Eddie or William) just hated the mere smell of bananas! Guess Manny didn't mind...
