Thankful Thursday: Backtalk

Angel, telling it like it is!
Oh yes, our kitties are full of sass and backtalk!  Even though such communication may start up at 4 am, or rise in fervor when it's meal time, the meows of cats are music to our ears.  I recall being so excited when Sweetie first let me hear her voice, that I ran inside to tell The Hubby!  So thankful that each Eastside Cat gives a vocal opinion.

Except Manny, who is very quiet, and one only hears his purring when laying next to him, in a quiet house.  Maybe it's because I showed off his underwear in yesterday's post, and he's embarrassed...

  3. The cats around here are always telling the Mom just what to do, especially to pass out the foods. So there are lots of conversations around here. Have a great day.

  8. Flynn didn't talk he yelled.... all the time! You could see the expression on Eric's face thinking why don't you put a sock in it Flynn. He was always very vocal and would walk around the garden yelling to any intruders within earshot to keep away. The only time he was quiet was when he was hunting and when he was sleeping. I never thought I would at the time, but I miss that racket.

  11. Angels little mouth open like that is so sweet! Her whole expression is. I love that picture. Katie has a different very very quiet voice for when she crawls over my head at night.

  12. We love speaking our mind at our house too. Miss Fitz only started after her 6th year and we told her that her song was wonderful. She hasn't been quiet since

  15. We all talk here, too. And Mom says all her black boys are/were low-purrers, and that Caroline almost always yelled.

  16. McLaren is the chatty one here. Laser sometimes trills inquisitively but McLaren usually speaks for both of them.
