My daily travels in my 'hood always reveal surprises, and I am grateful for the wildlife that surrounds us.
Unknown street kitty.
Have not seen this window cat before.
A deer joined me for my walk yesterday.
Groundhog just chillin'.

You do see varied wildlife! The kitty beside the tree is cute.
ReplyDeleteAm keeping my eyes peeled for that cat; not sure if it's someone's outside kitty or a stray.
DeleteI enjoyed seeing the cats and the deer too. They are all over town here, up and down the sidewalks often.
ReplyDeleteWe are a block off of downtown, so it's a bit rare to find deer here, but it happens.
DeleteHow lucky you are in your "neighborhood", it's like your own private little zoo ...
ReplyDeleteInside the house is the zoo...with those crazy brofurs Manny and CB...hahaha!
DeleteWOW, you sure do have some fun neighbors, fun videos! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteIt's Wild Kingdom!
DeleteLove all the wildlife and the two cute kitties. When I used to walk in the park the kitties would come out to get love from hubby and I. A fond memory.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
I see cats, because I've spent so much time looking for them.
DeleteWOW what a ‘hood you live in - did that groundhog see his shadow some months ago? He’s a cutie, and a DEER just shows up like that???? WOW
ReplyDeleteOoooooo! Such cool critters you see on your walks!
ReplyDeletePurrs, Julie
I was surprised by the deer AND groundhog.
DeleteLovely animals. We haven't seen a deer here yet, but Mum saw a horse. There are some foxes too.
ReplyDeleteIf I saw a horse, I'd be hightailing it away!
DeleteMeowza, lots of great things in your hood! We like the window cat, aren't close enough at our house to see any. That groundhog is the biggest rodent we've ever seen. We decided we wouldn't mess with him!
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
The Feline Opines Tribe
Yes, I stay away from those big rodents too!
DeleteAll the pretty forest creatures are out in your neighborhood - how cool is that!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at the groundhog in a front yard, and you know I have cat-radar!
DeleteI'm not anonymous - I'm Catscue Cat Mom! Let me try this again.
ReplyDelete😺
DeleteYou never know what you might see when walking!
ReplyDeleteThat's the fun of it!
DeleteThe kitties are sweet but the deer made us nervous running in the street like that.
ReplyDeleteWith me watching, no vehicle was going to get anywhere near that animal!
DeleteI would be trying to catch the unknown one- I hope he has a home though
ReplyDeleteHope your tree kitty is not a stray...
ReplyDeleteThat deer sure wasn't in a good place! I once saw a deer in the ATM lane at the bank across the street form where i work, LOL!!!
Those groundhogs sure like to just lumber along...
But they will stand up and fight if need be...Our first dog, MJF had a 'run in ' with a young one, and he was ready to fight with the dog...I rescued both from each other...
Its kind of fun to see all the critters that want to 'show off' to you when you take your strolls...here too I get to see all kinds of this and that! Makes the walking go faster and not be boring.
A deer! Now that's something you won't see in my neighbor. We've seen coyotes and raccoons.
ReplyDeleteA ground-hog AND a deer! You have quite the wilderness park there. And I like what I see of the house in picture number two.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your walk on the wild side! Mom loves neighborhood walks (and sightings). Purrs Marv
