Although I've lived my entire life in Michigan, I HATE THE COLD!
🥶🥶🥶
Always dreamed that I'd win big on the lottery, and spend the cold seasons in Key West, Florida, and the warm seasons in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Um...I rarely buy a lottery ticket...
DO'H!!!
🙀
LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't care for much of the winter mess and cold either...though I will never say I wish it was summer, either!!
Just give me perpetual spring, please!
That sounds pretty good to me too!
DeleteI don't like the cold or the heat either. I always reckoned when I had a hysterectomy they removed my thermostat at the same time! I can't regulate heat at all and am either freezing cold or overheated, never any happy medium.
ReplyDeleteIf I get my 'hood walks in, I'm fairly okay with the colder temps, but all of this rain means I'm just sitting on my...chair...much too much, which means I'm not exercising.
DeleteWell, we could do with spring now. Brrr, way too cold here in the UK. Thank goodness we haven't had the horrendous storms you have had in the USA
ReplyDeleteERin
Erin, have heard about the cold in the UK...hope the temperature pendulum swings back to warm again.
DeleteOh dear, guess we're the odd ones: we sort of really liked our years of living in St. Joseph, MI and wouldn't really mind moving back there ...
ReplyDeletefur real!
Wow, St. Joseph, MI! Haven't visited there in years, as we are in northern Metro Detroit area. That snow and cold coming off Lake Michigan...brrr!!!!
DeleteWe thought We couldn't wait for the long, hot summer to end - but now that it's turned cold, We can't wait for the Spring to come!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya!
DeleteI hear you. I moved from Los Angeles to Connecticut about 30 years ago, and I've never gotten used to the winter cold. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteSaw a movie once, where the temperature in Heaven is 72 degrees...seems purrfect to me.
Delete#1 says she would advise you to look into getting some Heat Tech gear from Uniqlo. It works really well!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
“There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes”, eh #1?
DeleteSince my hot flashes began, I love it cold. I don't even wear a coat if it is over 30 degrees. :)
ReplyDeleteWell now, that's an interesting point of view! Hot flashes are good in cold weather...who'd of thought?
DeleteIt's going to be 15 degrees Celsius (59 F) here on Wednesday. This is Canada, right?
ReplyDeleteSay WHAT? I'm much farther south from you, and we are much colder. *sigh*
DeleteWe sure can't complain here in Georgia but I hate the dark, dreary and often wet days. The grass has turned brown and leaves are all down except from the evergreen trees. Just mentioned this morning when looking at our two Japanese Magnolia trees with lots of buds—in two months they will bloom!
ReplyDeleteWell, that time will pass. Would love to be at Curaçao where the water is always 28°C or 82°F year round. Key West can be rather nippy and windy, at least our experience from February 2010. Our kitties MISS their sun puddles...
Hugs,
Mariette
We were in Key West years ago in February, and it was cold enough to close the public schools, as those buildings have no heating. For us Northerners, we just put on a bigger sweatshirt.
Delete🤗
DeleteYep, we're not cold fans either. Key West and Steamboat Springs sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteThe trick is to be in Colorado in the summer, and Florida in the winter...not the other way 'round...hehehe!
DeleteThanks for the laugh
ReplyDeleteWe aim to please!
DeleteI freeze by the end of October and don't thaw until spring, and I live in the swamps of south Louisiana. Cold is just plain painful.
ReplyDeleteMy dream homes are in Hawaii and the Canadian Rockies.
Hmm...like the idea of Hawaii, just haven't been there, but The Canadian Rockies; yes, please.
DeleteI agree…I hate the cold too!
ReplyDeleteSo why oh why do we continue to live in Michigan?!?!?
DeleteMy husband surprised me with a honeymoon on Key West. :D Thank you for the giggles. Be well, my dear.
