10 December is International Animal Rights Day
"International Animal Rights Day is a global observance dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of animal rights and advocating for the ethical and humane treatment of animals.
It serves as a reminder that animals deserve respect, compassion, and protection from cruelty and exploitation."
Worldwide practices that I wish would cease:
Declawing cats
Bullfighting
Horse racing
Dog Fighting
Puppy/Kitten Mills
The fur trade of any kind
Animal testing
Trophy hunting
and
Not spaying/neutering your pets
Humans, we can do better than this!

Dearest Eastside Cats,
ReplyDeleteWISH more animals could enjoy the lifte we give to our pets. Caring and sheltered instead of letting them fend for themselves...
Hugs,
Mariette
You are right, all animals deserve no less and we love them all.
ReplyDeleteDeclawing cats is illegal in Europe. We hope all other countries will follow suit.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Such an important day. All animals everywhere need to be treated with love and respect.
ReplyDeleteAmen to your list, my dear.
ReplyDeleteI am 100% with you in every one of these.
ReplyDeleteCouldn’t agree with you more.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on all of the above. All animals deserve respect. XO
ReplyDeleteAmen. You are a hundred percent right and I am proud to stand with you.
ReplyDeleteWe totally agree,
ReplyDeleteProud Maryland resident: among the first in the US to legislate "declawing" against the law! Yet so much more must be done.
ReplyDeleteYou're speaking to my heart.
