Some of us are quite used to having squirrels look in our windows! |

This is a chipmunk who visited us during a nature trail walk. Chipmunks are squirrels, and make a 'chip chip chip' noise when they feel danger is near. |

Squirrels invade birdfeeders in every garden, no? |
We think we're lucky that we only have two squirrels this winter that are regularly here to steal bird food. And the fun thing about them is they must be sisters that were born late this fall and they stay together in the cherry tree where they were born. We haven't seen a chipmunk since the ground got covered with snow 3 weeks ago
ReplyDeleteWe don't have chipmunks in Europe, but we do have red squirrels whom we love!
ReplyDeleteI unfortunately have not seen any squirrels or chipmunks near my new home, but it's winter. I have hopes comes spring the back garden will receive visitors.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahaha. You made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Happy Tuesday.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
I love the last one for sure! That beak!!! the wings...purrfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Katie Isabella. ~nods~ Two great storytellers I know have rascally squirrel tales. I hope to never forget either. Maybe I should request retells. :D Be well!
ReplyDeleteThe wacky squirrels are fun to watch here too! Our ferals are too old to catch them and they seem to know it.
ReplyDeleteWe have squirrels and chippies at our place. We (cats and humans alike0 all enjoying watching their antics from inside!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughs.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby has a relocation program for them so none at our feeders.
ReplyDeleteSquirrels are amazing fun, outdoors. Do not have one as a pet, trust me.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy watching their antics, though.
