Artists

It's Twozday!

Manny and Chili Bruce find new combinations of togetherness, as if they are performance artists displaying their genius and creativity for their admirers.
❤️ Thanks so much for the kind words of comfort.❤️

Boxed Up

It's Twozday!

Recently, I'd purchased so many cans of cat food, that the store gave us a box to haul it all away in.

Of course, a new box in the house, attracts Da Boyz.
Chili Bruce
Manny
Funny how they didn't share it; it's plenty big enough for two.

Guess it's a time-share box.

Both contributed to ripping the edges with their teeth; wee bits of cardboard are everywhere, as a kind of performance art.

~AND~

Some might wonder how I can tell which cat is which in these images, but it's easy: Manny has a tiny white spot above his lip, sorta like the reverse of Marilyn Monroe's beauty mark.

Performance Art III: An Artist At Work

Performance Art
Performance Art II

I knew that Manny was our Ar-teest, but when The Hubby was sweeping up...fur balls and performance art detritus...Chili Bruce jumped in to share his own skills and passion!

What a mess!

Therefore, I have a new 'canvas' for them to work on!

A blank canvas, ready to become art!

Performance Art: Part II

Feb 21, 2018 Blog Post: Performance Art

More scattered bits!
Some kitty continues to work on his performance art.  The box edge gets 'sculpted' daily, and the cardboard bits are carefully arranged across the gallery floor.  A sheet of tissue paper was donated for this performance, however at this time, the artist has not yet incorporated drooly globs of pink paper to his creation.  Suggestions from the gallery owner on neatness and quiet in the early morning hours, have gone unrecognized.  Some kitty also prefers to remain anonymous, perhaps revealing himself once the installation is final.

Performance Art

(Lucky for some kitty, I can get new boxes at the office!)
Some kitty decided that this box needed adaptation!  The pieces were carefully strewn about.  The fancy art critic says, "The uneven edge represents the vagueries of life, while the viciously ripped out fragments mimic the complexity of the cosmos."

Or, some kitty attempted to make enough noise to convince the humans to get up sooner rather than later, and feed some kitty!

Update on Patty O'Malley: Well, there really isn't an update.  I've been spritzing his wound with Vetericyn as often as I can.  We've had terrific rainfall for about 24 hours, though...cannot spritz much in a downpour.  Last night, I was convinced that we needed the veterinarian, and yet this morning, it wasn't too bad.  Any photo of this is too icky to post, so you'll just have to take my word for it.  Now that it's dry outside, I'll sit out on the deck, with the cat in my lap, and really get a good look-see.
