Kiss A Ginger Day!

January 12 is Kiss A Ginger Day!

For us, this means ginger or marmalade cats, also called red or yellow cats.

Alas, at this time, Eastside Cats has no resident ginger cats, however dear friends have loaned us theirs for today.

Meet:

Eric, in British Columbia

Mango, in Florida

Rusty, in Florida

Sassy, in Florida

Skittles, in Florida

Rufus, in Detroit

Eddie, in the UK

Hearty applause for our Ginger Gang, all with smoochies on their wee noggins!

Underneath and Behind

It's Twozday!

Over the holiday break, I spent much time being a human cat bed.

You cannot see me in these photos, because I am under the blanket!

The story behind Da Boyz' names

Da Boyz were called 'Spiderman' and 'Bruce Wayne' by the adoption agency.

'Spiderman' became Manny; easy enough.

'Bruce Wayne' morphed into Chili Bruce Lee.

Chili: From the character Chili Palmer in the film, "Get Shorty"

Bruce: From his adopted name.

Lee: From actor and martial arts guru, Bruce Lee.

Snow and Cold

It's PO'Monday!

It's gotten cold here, and although we've had some snow, thankfully the sidewalks are clear.

The PO'M was in his element in Winter, I'd always believed.

Today's images are from 2014, about this same time of year, and with the same type of weather.

Didn't he look fine?
