The last Tuesday in February is World Spay Day.
Let's draw attention to the importance of spaying and neutering pets during a time when many animals begin to reproduce in the spring.

And adopt, don't shop. |

We know this, so spread the word.
Chat up a neighbor, the person next to you at the bookstore or library, the cashier when you buy you lottery tickets.
Sure, having a celebrity say it is great, yet the lone soldier on the battlefield can have an impact too.
If only more people would become responsible pet owners there wouldn't be that many strays...
ReplyDeleteWe kitties have all been done. Ollie, on the other paw, still carries his crown jewels with him.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
If only. My house cats have always been spayed. But my neighbors? The ones they let run outside? No.
ReplyDeleteI really wish people took more responsibility for this problem.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes, it's so important, just do it!
ReplyDeleteWe have one that's had her surgery and the other isn't old enough yet, but soon. I so agree with doing what's right. We have neighbors that don't do this and there are kittens here and there. We have two of them.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
We keep saying it, maybe someday it will get through!
ReplyDeleteAmen! Blessings, my dear.

A great message!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to having a pet, there's nothing more important than making sure they are spayed or neutered.
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. Spaying and neutering is big-time important!
ReplyDeleteI liked The It Girl. If I don't like or didn't finish a book I usually say that. Otherwise assume it was a decent book that was read. I have liked all of Ruth Ware's books, so far.
