2024 New York Cat Film Festival

Had the unique experience of attending The 2024 New York Cat Film Festival, at the Michigan Theater in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A few images snapped during the movie, which was a selection of short films and cartoons.

Silly, informative, wacky, somber, and delightfully full of cats!

The lineup can be found here.

Am thankful for a chance to engage with other feline enthusiasts, even if I was the only person in the audience wearing cat ears.

A portion of ticket sales is donated to a local animal non-profit, and new dates and locations are added, so keep an eye open to see if The New York Cat Film Festival will be near you.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my good fortune to have traveled several times to do wonderful cat things in 2019!

In March, I visited Loganberry Books in Cleveland, Ohio:

This is Otis, who lives at Loganberry Books!

On that same trip, we visited the Cat Fanciers Association Feline Historical Museum in Alliance, Ohio:

Outdoor cat shelter designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright

I also attended the 2019 CatVideo Fest at the Detroit Film Theater:

The shirt I wore to the CatVideo Fest!

I had the delightful experience of meeting Beatrice Friedlander and her husband Donald, who run Attorneys For Animals at the All About Animals Rescue Gala in April:

Advocates for Michigan's animals!

May caught me traveling in Colorado, and had the great pleasure of meeting Glogirly, Waffles and Katie:

Waffles carefully investigated my bag; Glogirly made sure he didn't climb in and leave with me!

The Meow Meetup in Chicago occured in July, and it was SO MUCH FUN!
Here's only one link to the multiple ones that I posted:
I've even taken a class on how to read Tarot Cards now

Visiting Black Cat Pottery is always a treat, this time in August:
This is Pandora, Dora for short
Or should we just say, ADORABLE?!?

Another film festival, The New York Cat Film Festival, arrived in September:

Seen at the Royal Oak Main Art Theater
A November visit to the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium in Toledo, Ohio was fantastic:

And in December, I visited my other boyfriend...Magoo!

Such grace and style; Magoo had eye only for me

Thank you for joining me on my journey back through 2019!
Where will I go in 2020?
