Friday, 10 May, we witnessed our Rainbow Bridge tailios; it was spectacular!!!

Am sure this was my first Northern Lights observation, and feel extra delighted because we'd enjoyed the total solar eclipse last month.

The Cat Hotel's Spring Refurrbish, and Farewell Felix

The Cat Hotel had a Spring Cleaning!  Old straw out, and new straw in.  An inspection of every inch was made...

 ...and our snoopervisors gave the refurrbishment a Four Paws Gold rating!  The PO'M allowed Sweetie the first opportunity to nap in the new digs, so he gallantly slept up on top when we were done, so the straw was pristine for her.

On a sad note, Angel Felix unexpectedly ran off to The Rainbow Bridge yesterday.

His humans Trish and Scott are very sad.
They've lost Angels Sweet Pea and Rupert this year also.

Farewell Toby Toblerone

Sir Toby Toblerone, a quadriplegic cat with a fascination for watching trains, was the official mascot for the Lancaster, UK train station.  Toby had no feeling from the neck down.  Read more here.

Toby unexpectedly passed away yesterday.  Having watched for a long while on his FB page, I am stunned by his sudden death.  Toby and his humans often aired live broadcasts, and he was such a gentle, sweet kitty, with an interest in life.  He had regular massages, was groomed often, and his every need taken care of.  I checked in with Toby daily, just like my blogging friends.

My admiration for his humans has no bounds; they loved Toby without question.  Obviously, I am not alone in my sorrow; folks all around the globe have offered condolences.

Angel Toby, here's hoping that you are running free over The Rainbow Bridge, with your body in purrfect health, and that the wave of love for you buoys the spirits of your grieving family.

Farewell, Angel Oreo

My sister's former cat, my nephew cat, was just helped to The Rainbow Bridge.  Angel Oreo was mostly an outside cat while my sister's children were young.  New neighbors built their house in the field that Oreo like to play; actually, he 'allowed' them to build on his turf!  That family fell in love with him, enough so that they asked if they could adopt him, as he was already spending so much time with them.  He had a good life, with two loving families, but he left us too soon.
