Revontulet: Finnish for "fire fox, or Aurora Borealis
Äiti from Catio Tales believes: "If you watch you can see the tailios of those we have loved and miss so much playing in the lights."
Friday, 10 May, we witnessed our Rainbow Bridge tailios; it was spectacular!!!
Am sure this was my first Northern Lights observation, and feel extra delighted because we'd enjoyed the total solar eclipse last month.
A very special experience.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteOf course here in our Northern Ohio it was too cloudy to see the Northern lights. So I appreciate all the photos that people have shared because I would rather have seen the Northern Lights than three and a half minutes of Darkness from the eclipse.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! We missed seeing them completely!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
That is absolutely ameowzing! Beautiful! Alas, We couldn't see them here.
ReplyDeleteTHANX FOR SHARING V....TOO MUCH CLOUD COVER TO SEE THE LIGHTS HERE :(
ReplyDeleteThe lights over much of the northern hemisphere were brilliant, though, like Trout Towne, it was too cloudy here for enjoyment. It's nice that they reached so far south as your home.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been exciting to see the Aurora. We couldn't see it here.
ReplyDeleteThat was really pretty amazing! Happy Mother's Day to a special kitty Mom!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have never seen it!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it amazing?! We are glad you got to see it!

ReplyDeleteA brilliant show of love from the Bridge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sight. Thank you so much for showing us the beauty.
ReplyDeleteI learned another new word from you. ~grin~ Thanks! Here in Southwest Ohio I could only see the glow from the city of Dayton north of us. Oh, well. Thanks for sharing some awesome images and the love you felt witnessing this amazing event.
