Massive

For the squeamish, don't look at this peeball!
This is the biggest peeball that I've ever dug out of the litterbox!  It's massive; I even got out a ruler to measure it's size.  This was all Chucky, because I just happened to have witnessed the um, er...deposit as it was created!

Now, actually, a peeball this size is cause for concern; excessive urination can be an indicator of several issues, like kidney problems or even diabetes.  Lucky for him, we have a visit at Sheppard Alternative Animal Care on Saturday, and we will ask the veterinarian all about it.  However, it's more than likely that it's a one time behavior for my Chuck, since I scoop the boxes every day and know both his and Angel's output.  He makes a big peeball every once in awhile, but not every day. Thanks to TROUT TALKIN TABBIES for giving me the courage to take a photo of something from the litterbox!  LOL!

P.S. Please go visit Sunny at Colehaus Cats; the orange kitty is now in her furrever home!  YAY!

P.S.S. You know that I love cats, but really I love all critters.  Like this cricket that I just found in one of our Vice President's offices.  I carefully captured it, then released it back outside.  Run free, dear cricket!
Mr. Cricket, why were you inside my building?

  3. Some cats will pee in the same spots and create huge clumps. It's always a good idea to have diabetes or renal failure in mind if this continues.

  7. Zoey has had some pee balls that would rival that one. ;)

And the mom has been known to capture and release crickets, flies, spiders, you name it.

While Treasure is on medication for kidney support, we all may contribute to the size of the "balls" MOL!

You are very kind to capture and release the cricket. I can never love critters with more than six legs... :-)
