Tiger Tuesday

Before he was named Paddy O'Malley,
The Hubby called him "Tiger"!

No hard feelings about being picked up for an usie,
The PO'M gives me some licks!
The PO'M's chin doesn't appear to be bothering him in the least, so perhaps he just lost some fur a few weeks ago.  And, if you didn't notice, I'm holding him in my left hand...the one that I smashed in March...and it's just about as good as ever.  So very lucky that a) it was my left hand, and I'm right-handed, b) no surgery was needed, and c) I continue to exercise per the directions given by my occupational therapist.  If there is a downside, other than the extra money that came out of our pockets to pay medical bills, is that my wedding band won't fit.  Yes, I could have it resized, or get a new one (The Hubby has hinted at this), but I'm a sentimental fool and I want MY ring on my finger.  It was chosen 25 years ago, when we were broke, and the set was the least expensive that the jewelry store had.

  1. I'm with you on the wedding ring. I have the original band when we were broke too. It's the only jewelry I wear anymore. Hubby has a matching band.

Glad your had is all better now. I hate it when I hurt myself and it takes months to regain full mobility.

PO'M is a handsome cat. I think he knows it too.

Have a purrfect day, PO'M. My best to your peeps. ♥

  2. Hi P O'M aka Tiger both names fit your to a T but P O'M is rather regal sounding.
I know how you feel about your wedding band maybe give the finger til
March 2019 then have it resized.

  3. I certainly understand wanting that ring on your finger.
Sadly, Cieba zach's foster was returned to the shelter on Sunday. She was still attacking him unprovoked. HE was so gently with her. We saw her attitude on videos he'd send. THEy just werenot the right fit . I am sad for him. He really wanted it to work but knew it wasn't going to. HEasked me to carry her cage back into the shelter.
I have given two dogs back in my long animal life. It crushed me. But I hope it also helped me to be supportive of his intuition that this match was wrong. T
THe shelter was so grateful to zach for trying and giving them an idea of what she is like in a home.
sigh. Right kitty, come to us!

  5. Such a handsome boy. A great Tiger and POM.

Could you wear your ring on the other hand and hopefully you're left hand will sort itself out eventually and not need the resizing?

  7. Oh he is SO scrumptiously huggable looking. He's our heart kitty too on a way. So glad your hand is better. I remember what happened to you when it did. I have been down that road as I feel I mentioned to you. But in my case, it was my right hand.

  8. I'd say POM is a ferocious tiger - but I know better. He's a lover boy at the same time!

  12. It's good to see the left hand working well enough to hold a cat. That is the true test of its recovery, I think.

  13. Good news about your hand. We wear plain bands too. I've thought of getting a second band (1/2 size smaller) for winter when my hands are cold and my ring nearly free-falls off my finger. Resizing wouldn't be terrible, or get a "temporary" larger band until this one fits again.
I love the first picture of Paddy. He looks like a little tiger!

  14. Paddy is so handsome. ♥ I'm the same way with my wedding ring. We've been married 36 years and I never want a new one. I told my husband this one has worked and was blessed. I never let anyone else try it on either. LOL!

  15. I hope his chin will heal fully. He is an adorable little tiger :-) It’s wonderful you treasure your wedding ring. I hope it will fit you again in the future. I lost mine a few years after the wedding. I got myself kitty themed ring instead :-D

  17. He does look like a Tiger! Maybe he should be the new "PAWS" for the Tigers? Maybe they will have better luck that way
