Another Piece of Yard Art: Polecat

Imagine my surprise when I met this pretty thing wandering the backyard!

Am thankful for the abundance in our yard; the animals, the plants, and that we have a few pence in our pockets to purchase a few artistic items for our pleasure.

Just so you know, I have some rocks too, but they aren't as cute as this skunk or our cat statues!

Purrsonally, I adore how skunks waddle.

  1. Skunks are very cute, but we are thankful we don't have them in our yard as that would be a smelly problem.

  2. That skunk looks quite cute :)
As long as he behaves while in your yard ;)

  7. I too love skunks. We had a few at the old place. I imagine they are here too, but I haven't seen (or smelled) any

  8. We have a neighborhood skunk who wanders at night. We've smelled him but never seen him. Yours is kinda bold!

  9. We are so furry happy that is YOUR yard and NOT OURS! Mom remembers washing 2 furry stinky hairy slobbery before sisters (Bob and Sam) after they tried to chase one of those in our back yard! Mom was really glad that she had a can of tomato juice in the pantry. Have a marvellously happy day!

  11. OMG - I am *SOOO* jealous! I need a photo of a garden skunk for a talk I want to put together but it's a big ask - they tend to be nocturnal. You have a wonderful garden helper there! <3

  12. We have a small family of them helping themselves to the feral colony's food at my work-place.
