The Paid Price

 National Napping Day is celebrated on the Monday after DST starts, which is March 9 this year.

If you cannot nap, then an industrial sized caffeine drink will have to do!

I would have been more spry after waking yesterday, if I hadn't have stayed up VERY late to finish my book.

Worth the sleepiness to get to the cliffhanger at the end of the book!

Luckily, I've got the next book in the series ready.

 It's difficult to read a book when Chili Bruce wants my lap!

At least CB had his purr machine running!

Happy Snowday....er, um...Sunday!

We're getting socked with snow and wind this fine Sunday.

Purrfect weather to stay inside with a book or two, a hot cup of tea or two, and a housepanther or two sleeping on my person. 

Wishing you all a terrifically mellow Sunday.

Chair Thieves

It's Twozday!

As Chili Bruce can be such a lap cat, and Manny moons around like he wants a lap too, we decided to find a comfy chair for us to sit in, making maximum lap area.

My purrsonal goal: read a book, using the lap cat(s) as a book rest.

However, Da Boyz, so far, prefer to use the chair themselves, without human involvement.

"You can't; it's mine!"

 If a cat is in the chair, I'll pick him up, and snuggle him in my lap.

CB will stay maybe a full minute.

Manny is away in seconds.

Sure was an expensive cat beddy.

Reading or listening while laying on the futon, Da Boyz join me for a snuggle.

In bed, Sweetie crawls onto my chest.

Am thankful for these comforts in such troubled times.
