Score: Cat Mom: 1 Sweetie: 1

The Swee Wee takes her retirement very seriously.

She allows nothing to interrupt her regularly scheduled programming.

As long as we keep a supply of food in her bowl...which often needs to be hand-delivered to her whilst she enjoys her cat quilt...life is good.
If said food bowl has a hole in the middle that shows the bottom at 3 or 4 am, she regularly makes sure the staff is advised immediately by paw to the face, or a meow in the ear, so the servant can stir the gushy stuff so no hole is visible.

Madame doesn't like holes.

HOWEVER...

After receiving her breakfast yesterday morning, she decided that everything needed to see the light of day again.

Someone still had the food bowl in her hand, and managed to CATCH IT when it made it's reappearance.

Someone has SKILLS!

The previous time such an even occurred, the evidence wasn't found until after it had dried on the blanket, the wall, and the window ledge.

You Otter Know

World Otter Day is the last Wednesday in May.

"The day was established by IOSF (International Otter Survival Fund) to help draw attention to otters, celebrate them, and raise awareness and support for their conservation globally.

The aim is to put otters on the map, and at the forefront of people’s mind!"

Otters look like water cats to me, and I love 'em!

Two Peas in a Small Pod

It's Twozday!

Manny and Chili Bruce shared a one-cat sized beddy for a nap, and they didn't give a fig that it was too small.

Grief

America honors the military personnel who've given their lives today, the last Monday in May.

Memorial Day.

Today, we honor those who didn't come home, and the loved ones who grieve.

Snoozer

It's Caturday, and a sleeping Manny is our model today.

I played with a few filters in Prisma, then created a collage.

Eight

It's Sweetnesday!

Today, exactly eight years ago, Sweetie The 'O' Cat was caught on camera just lazing 'round the place.
22 May, 2016
She was obviously resting as Spring finally lost its grip on Michigan weather, with sunshine and purrfect temperatures.

How brown her fur appears in these snaps.

🐝 Bzzzz ❤️

"Bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies, bats and hummingbirds, are increasingly under threat from human activities.

Pollination is, however, a fundamental process for the survival of our ecosystems. Nearly 90% of the world’s wild flowering plant species depend, entirely, or at least in part, on animal pollination, along with more than 75% of the world’s food crops and 35% of global agricultural land. Not only do pollinators contribute directly to food security, but they are key to conserving biodiversity." - World Bee Day; United Nations

Found this delightful video by Alice Loxton, "History Broadcaster and Author"; this woman enjoys history the way I do.

Hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.
