    We got our 1st girl adopted from backyard.
    Spooky, Barty and Speckie adopted from Humane Society local and next state.
    Spicy rescued from Acapulco and her five kittens born here and all adopted... 3 remain.

  5. I agree with Terry. :D Whenever I see pedigreed pets for sale those signs make me angry. :( And that's been doubled by what I've learned about some breeds. Thanks for your awesome caregiving, my dear.

  8. Most of the cats we had before Eric and Flynn just turned up looking for homes. They were most likely left behind when people moved on from the old Naval estate that used to be a few fields away from us. Eric and Flynn were "sort of rescued". We got them from a couple of farms away. There was an outsider tom up there killing kittens and young cats, so we took them at 5 weeks before he could get to them.
